The Marvellous Dome – PHOTO PROMPT © Roger Bultot
See Stephanie, it looks so marvellous from outside and I am sure it must be equally ornate from inside.
Trust the local and not Google, intervened the guide with a wry smile.
Eventually, Stephanie agreed.
They stepped inside and were stunned by the sheer ostentatiousness of the chandlers, pillars and the overall aura.
Outside, the weather changed. Dark clouds kept floating above the dome.
A thunderous lightning struck, not once, but twice, and reduced the dome to a derelict structure.
The next minute, land turned and a marvellous dome stood in the place.
‘Trust Google’, said the guide and walked away in search of tourists.

That is marvellous indeed…
For some strange reason, your “like” button won’t load…
Thank you. I am glad you liked the story.
I’ll check about the ‘Like’ button, Dale.
I want to trust Google but I would rather see for myself! Great take.
Thank you so much. We all would trust Google, but at times our instinct makes us choose the other option.
Well, that was a novel take, and most enjoyable 🙂
Thank you so muhc, Granonine.
Duel between local and Google is intersting.
I am glad you liked the duel, Abhijit.
