This image is from my recent trip to Jodhpur. The view is from the outside of Umaid Bhavan, Jodhpur, India. Umaid Bhavan is a palace and one of the world’s largest private residences. It is named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh. A small part of the palace is turned into a museum where visitors can marvel about the beauty of the palace and its history.
What I like about this shot is how seamlessly, nature and manmade concrete stand together under the vast expanse. Also, it’s great to see milky white cotton balls admiring, smiling and showering blessings to stay in unison, that too happily.
Ergo, How I wish, people from all caste and tribe stay together as brothers of one mother and stay peacefully forever.
And hence, the title ‘The Majestic View’.
