Behind the veil – A to Z Challenge
Who is it?
Behind the veil
I ask
Pat come the reply –
It is humans
Of no common sense
Of myriad emotions
Like numerous scent of perfume
If I may add
That bursts in peacock bloom
While the head stays still
Soaking it all, calmly
Smiling and braving
The catastrophes life present
Whiles nurturing a garden of love
Of hate and terror
As well
If I may add
That plants weed and
Spreads evil
Whiles nurturing a garden of hate
So, who is it
Behind the veil?

Thank you so much, Snehalata for liking the poetry.
Intrigued by your ability to create magic with words.
Thanks Sonia. Glad that you are loving the poems.
You’ve heard about power words, right? It’s been scientifically proven that they grab users’ attention and have the ability to impact people’s subconscious minds and convince them to take action. Kind of like in a real hypnosis. Words hold a lot of power. They can stimulate your imagination, distract your focus, create a scene or picture in your mind, play tricks on your senses, generate associations, and give rise to many other feelings or reactions – both positive and negative.
That is the power your poetry has! Kudos.
Thank you so much, Romila. Yes, I’ve heard about power words and am glad the poetry had an effect on you. This comment of yours means a lot to me and I’ll cherish it for days to come. 🙂

You have woven magic with your words. Poetry is one genre that as I am unable to create myself, I greatly admire in others.
Lyrical and very beautifully penned Rohan. Enjoyed it and also the type setting. 🙂
Very unusual styling of the verses Rohan; I dont believe I have ever read something in this form ever. Your words are pretty powerful too; what all we humans hide behind a mask is unbelievable!

We, so often hide so many aspects of ourselves behind veils and put up a different version of ourselves..
You have written this so well, such few words and yet so deep
