She exhaled. Her tired eyes chose to shut, not before seeing the tiny figure. A new life was welcomed.
She blinked, taking in the surroundings, trying to focus, trying to feel her body that was not hers. She no longer felt the pain.
At a distance, she recognized her father, waving and welcoming. Heavenly abode.
