Review: After flipping through the first few pages of the book, I once again confirmed myself that the author indeed is a male. And by the end of the book you will be amazed to learn that how well he knows about women and their behaviour, throwing the age old phrase ‘it is difficult to understand a women’ into a deep sea never to be found. Yes, such is the author’s prowess and skill which reflects in the central character, Moon. The author for once has gone into the skin of a teenager for writing this novella and it clearly shows in this roller coaster ride for finding love in true sense from a teenager’s point of view and for a teenager.

Moon is a typical teenager seeking love in each and every relationship she has. She is a no non-sense girl, extrovert and extremely impulsive who is not afraid to take chances with her relationships. On the one hand she is bold in seeking love but on the other she is extremely a softie seeking love and understanding from her mother.

The plot is fresh but tends to drift a bit in the latter stages. The characterization of Moon, her mom, and her mom’s boyfriend is brilliant. The part where Moon misses her dad after his tragic accident is beautifully etched and the constant tussle between her mind and her heart where some logic is introduced to silence either one of them to fulfill her wishes is lovable. The writing is crisp and clear without any proof reading errors.

Overall: An entertaining one time read from the viewpoint of a teenager who is seeking love, especially for a teenager.
