I am a sucker for romantic novels and when I first read the blurb of No Safe Zone by Adite Banerjie, I felt compelled to read and review the book. I felt the book to be a mixture of romance and thriller and the author’s note states that. So here is what the book is all about…

Review – Upon reading the blurb, I was excited to read the book and trust me ‘No Safe Zone’ by Adite Banerjie did not disappoint me at all. Right from the word go, the story kept me engrossed.

The female protagonist, Qiara is on her way to New Delhi to hunt a businessman who supports the NGO she works for. But she finds herself in a soup, as she is being chased by a gunman. And in comes, Kabir Shorey, her knight in shining armour, who is determined to save her at all cost. So they come together once again and sparks flew by. What starts from here on is a journey of romance and thrill.

I liked the way in which the author has narrated the story. The author has ensured that there is a curiosity to know what will happen next. This lead me to keep on turning pages in anticipation to know more. To add to this thrill is the once again blossoming romance between Qiara and Kabir. The author has shifted gears easily from romance to suspense to thrill which is commendable.

No Safe Zone has all the ingredients to turn into a Bollywood masala entertainer. There is murder, romance, chase, crime, kidnapping and some good souls too. Along with that, there are many twists and turns which made the story all the more interesting to read.

Apart from all these, No Safe Zone by Adite Banerjie also throws some light on child-selling business where a child is sold for few notes of currencies.

The characterization of Qiara and Kabir are nicely done. Also, I did not find any proofreading errors.

Overall – No Safe Zone by Adite Banerjie is a light breezy read and I highly recommend the book. I am sure you won’t be left disappointed.
